Spiro on Science, or S.O.S. for short, is the blog of Mary Spiro who works as a Public Information Officer for a major research university and as the Baltimore Science News Examiner. Mary writes mostly about science, but she is known to divert into other completely unrelated topics for no reason except that they are of interest to her. Also, this blog serves as a forum for a second opinion on some of the items posted on Examiner.com or the Institute for NanoBioTechnology home page. It’s a blog after all.
